Ian Zainea

Ian Zainea in Newport, Kentucky, behind is the Cincinnati skyline.

Ian Paul Zainea is a video editor and motion graphics artist by profession. His love of video began at a young age with performances using the sofa as a stage, and making short movies about anything from X-Men to the Vietnam War. Ian’s dream is to one day be involved with a television show as an editor, or in some other capacity he has yet to consider. Ian values the arts with the utmost respect, and believes in Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer’s famous motto, “Ars Gratia Artis” – Art for art’s sake – not money, nor fame. Dance and theater (and by extension film) are his favorite arts, but music, painting, sculpting, and the rest, hold a special place in his heart as well.

Language (i.e. writing) is also an art, as are other things, and it deserves the same respect as other arts. Another one of my biggest passions is space, space exploration, planets, and everything involved with it. It is fitting then, that Ian’s first article on the Lee’s Summit Conservative is about space.

Ian Zainea attended The University of Akron, pursuing a degree in Public Relations and currently works at Think Media Studios near Cleveland, Ohio. He currently lives in Akron, Ohio. He invites you to follow him on various social media sites:
