JEFFERSON CITY — During the week of July 25, Sen. Will Kraus, R-Lee’s Summit, will be hosting two town hall meetings in Lee’s Summit and Blue Springs.  State Reps. Jeff Grisamore, Mike Cierpiot, and Gary Cross will also be available at the Lee’s Summit town hall, and Rep. Sheila Solon will be present at the one in Blue Springs.

Senator Kraus will provide current news from the Senate, followed by state representatives, who will offer information from the House of Representatives.  The floor will then be opened for questions and comments from the audience.

On Monday, July 25, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The town hall will be held at Lee’s Summit City Hall’s City Council Chambers at 220 SE Green Street in Lee’s Summit.  State Reps. Jeff Grisamore, District 47; Mike Cierpiot, District 56; and Gary Cross, District 48, will also be at this town hall to answer questions about state government.

On Tuesday, July 26, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The town hall will be held at Moreland Ridge Middle School at 900 SW Bishop Drive in Blue Springs.  State Rep. Sheila Solon, District 55, will also be in attendance to answer questions. Also, Blue Springs City Council members Ron Fowler and Grant Bowerman will be on hand to address any questions or concerns regarding local government.

These town hall meetings are important to me because they afford me the opportunity to interact straight with the constituents of the 8th Senatorial District,” said Sen. Kraus. “It is a vital way to keep members of the local community up to date on activities within the Capitol and upcoming issues and events. I look forward to speaking with concerned citizens and addressing any questions they might have.
