Lee’s Summit July 29, 2010 – Recently, someone tried to smear Will Kraus in a survey taken by phone. One of the questions asked was, “Would it affect your vote if you knew that Will Kraus was not a supporter of Right to Life?” This question plainly insinuates that Will Kraus is not pro-life. This is a plain lie. It is despicable that anyone following this Republican primary race would attack the character and honesty of a man like Will Kraus. That individual should not be given a high office in the Missouri State Senate which should require honesty, integrity, and trust-worthiness. It is my sincere hope that this individual or campaign will retract this lie, and reprimand any individual in his team who might have done this.

I have been a Baptist Pastor for five churches over the last 23 years in the metropolitan area of Kansas City, I personally know Will to be a bonafide Christian of the highest rank. He is a dedicated family man, committed to the Judeo-Christian principles on which the founding fathers built this great country. He will not receive campaign gifts from Jefferson City special interest groups to whom he would be obligated to be “their inside man in the Senate.” He defends the unborn children, being 100% against abortion. Knowing abortion is legal by the U.S. Supreme Court decree, he sought to save babies from death by helping to pass Senate Bill 793 which mandated that a woman seeking abortion must wait at least 24 hours, watch an ultrasound and listen to the heartbeat of the unborn child. The woman must also be informed of the physical and psychological risks of the procedure. The bill also mandates that the woman receive a description of the “anatomical and physiological characteristics of the unborn child.

There is no doubt in my mind that Will Kraus will prove the superior candidate for this Senate seat. He will do what we citizens want, not what special interests desire.
