Every time Congress has been brave enough to implement real tax cuts our Presidents have put forth — JFK in the 60s, Ronald Reagan in the 80s, George Bush in 2003 — the United States economy has boomed and revenues of the Federal government have exploded.” (www.turkforcongress.org)”

Business owners also need relief from government regulations and the burden of the new health care legislation.”…”

Your column failed to mention that Jacob Turk and Bill Lindsey do not live in the 5th District. They live in the 6th District. This is a fatal flaw for both candidates. It shows a lack of commitment to 5th District voters. They have had 3 years to move, or file in MO-6. Why haven’t they? Voters want local representation. Should Turk or Lindsey win primary, Dems will SINK them in November over residency. Turk lies about redistricting facts. I know for a fact he just misled a KC STAR reporter about his residency. Star is on campaign blackout and won’t print a correction at this stage. Michael Burris is a solid, conservative 5th District resident, business owner, job creator and family man. Vote for the candidate most likely to win in November. Vote local. Vote Burris.
